Will my muscles feel sore after a massage?

Some types of massage, such as deep tissue, cause your muscles to release lactic acid as a result of the pressure. This might result in minor and temporary soreness, either right after the massage or the next day. Be sure to drink plenty of water after your massage to flush out all the toxins.
